Working with GPS is pretty straightforward. The work can be performed in tho location in the program. You can either edit the data directly in the main window in the GPS section or you can use Map window.

GPS Section tags
In the GPS section, there is a couple of tags you can edit. The tags shown are just numbers in the format that is configurable in the Preferences window.

GPS Latitude | GPS:Latitude | GPS Latitude tag represents a geographic coordinate that specifies the northern-southern position on the Earth. The number is in degrees and doesn’t tell whether the point is on the northern or on the southern hemisphere. For this information, you will need the next tag. |
GPS Latitude Ref | GPS:LatitudeRef | GPS Latitude tag if the image was taken in the northern or southern hemisphere. |
GPS Longitude | GPS:Latitude | GPS Latitude tag represents geographic coordinate that specifies the eastern-western position of the image on the Earth. The number is in degrees and doesn’t tell whether the point is on the eastern or on the western hemisphere. For this information, you will need the next tag. |

GPS Img Direction | GPS:ImgDirection | GPS image direction tells the angle of the direction that the camera points to. |

Map window displays a nice visualization of the image position on the map.
How to get to the map window
On the map window, you can do several actions that influence the resulting position on the map. The actual position on the map is determined by the red pin.

Adding GPS location
With selected file(s) in the main window, you can add GPS location to those files that don’t include it. Just press the Add location button on the bottom of the window. After doing so, a red pin appears on the map. Note that the position is added only to those files that didn’t contain the GPS location previously.

By clicking Remove Location button, you will remove the GPS position on the map from the selected files.
Changing the location
You can change the location by dragging and dropping the red pin on the map. Note that by clicking on the pin, you will see which file the pin belongs to.

You can also change the way how the GPS location is displayed. Just go to the preferences dialog and it will be clear.
